We love Monterrico and we have loved our stay here at Atelie del Mar. Our hosts have been warm and gracious and very helpful. We have enjoyed the staff; they are helpful, friendly and quietly take care of your needs. The pool is the best in town! We leave with full & happy bellies and our intent is to some day return. The sooner, the better!

Stig & Violeta – hospitality, perfectamente! Inspired hotel decor, great pool, good cerveza and many wonderful conversations. Staff very attentive and the early morning tour to the mangrove with Eleazar was absolutely awesome! Met some migratory birds from Canada in the dockwaters. They were friendly, every bit as friendly as Hotel Atelie del Mar.

Katy + I had salad + chicken soup for dinner. Violeta washes all the fresh vegetables + dips them in Clorox – to be sure no negative effect to guests. It was the best meal I have had in 3 weeks, after breakfast here also. A wonderful week in paradise with very high quality European care of us. Thanks, we will not forget.

Dear Violeta & Stig, we spend three wonderful and really relaxing days at your place! Luckily, we were not satisfied with the first hotel we had a look at and therefore found the way to the hotel Atelie del Mar. Especially the pool is a big runner and makes your place even more inviting. We surely won´t forget the evening with thunder – and myself in the pool swimming…! We will fore sure recommend your hotel and wish you all the best (specially many guests) for the future.
