Location
Our hotel in Monterrico, Guatemala, Hotel Atelie del Mar is located only about 30 meters / 90 feet from the beach.

Where to find us
Arriving to Monterrico, take the main street towards the beach. Just before you reach the beach make a right turn and follow the sandy street for about 350 meters / 0,2 miles and we will be on the right side.

Rooms
We have 16 comfortable rooms of different sizes. The rooms have private bath, closet and mosquito net. 8 rooms have a/c and the rest fan. 9 rooms have TV, most of them with the service of SKY.

Restaurant & Bar
Our restaurant is open daily from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm. Breakfast is served 8.00 am – 10.30 am, lunch/dinner from 12.00 (noon) until 9.00 pm (Saturdays and during special holidays until 10 pm). Beverages, food and snacks is also available all day long.

Two
We have the biggest pool in Monterrico (20 x 7 meters) and also a smaller pool. If you like to swim – this is the place for you! At the pool you will find comfortable hammocks and sun chairs where you can relax in the sun or under a tree in the shade.

Free
We have Internet for our guests. Wireless connection for those who come with their own laptop and we have also a computer that our guests are free to use.

Exchange books
We have a small “library”, where our guests can exchange books – take one, leave one!

You can talk to us in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portugues, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish and German.

Art
At our hotel you can enjoy the colourful art painted by Violeta Marroquín de Björkas. Violeta has had several exhibitions and today you can find her works in for example USA, Finland, France, Canada, Norway, Sweden and Denmark.Read more.
