Colors
you will find in the art of Violeta Marroquín that you can admire in many different parts of the hotel. You will find all the colors of the rainbow in the garden, in the different buildings and in the surrounding nature. Every building has its own color, but even though the range of colors is variable on the outside, you will find peace and harmony inside the rooms.

The warmth
is everywhere! From the sun, shines daily from a clear blue sky, to the personalized service and the warmth in the paintings of Violeta. Hotel Atelie del Mar offers an environment where you will enjoy color and warmth early morning till late night.

Comfort
is about many different things. Personalized service, clean and attractive rooms, good food and a comfortable surrounding are the most elementary in our opinion. But we strive to offer our guests enjoyable activities during their stay as well.

In Monterrico you won´t find a better alternative for a refreshing dip or a relaxing swim than our big pool. When you wish to sit in the sun, there are sun chairs for your comfort at the poolside. If you prefer to stay in the shade, you will find many different alternatives. Take a walk in the garden and admire the flowers or take a nap in the hammock.
From seven in the morning until ten at night Galeria Café & bar is open. You can also refresh your mind with a game of chess, or just watch the television…

The beach is only about 50 meters / 150 feet away where you can cool off in the big waves, enjoy the sun, watch the pelicans flying over the waves, or take a walk on the black sand.

Discover the fantastic nature in the early morning sunrise during a tour on the channel or visit “El tortugario” about some hundred meters (½ mile) from our hotel to see turtles, caimans or iguanas.
